Bomb Pops 2 (Variations)
Approximately 3 years ago I sold my first painting. It was of some Bomb Pops. On occasion I’ve tried to paint more but I wasn’t connecting until now. My approach to these repeating images has changed dramatically in the past 3 years and if finally felt like the right time to try this image again and see how differently it would come out. Initially the image was 4’x4’ but I cut it down into 9 smaller pieces which I retouched. 7 came out good and 2 got tossed.
